Illegal immigration by young Indians to countries such as the US, the UK, and Canada has come under spotlight as a plane carrying suspected victims of human trafficking was rerouted to India.

Madad portal: Ministry of External Affairs has asked Indian students in Canada to register with the High Commission of India in Ottawa or the Consulates General of India in Toronto and Vancouver through the official websites, or the MADAD portal madad.gov.in.
