WEATHER REPORT AND TIDES It ll be a partly cloudy day on the Coast as the weather bureau predicts just a 30 per cent chance of showers this morning. The rainfall is expected to ease off by this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will reach a top of 25C for Maleny and 28C for Maroochydore, Noosa Heads, Caloundra and Nambour. High tide was at 12.52am at 1.50m and low tide will be at 6.51am at 0.62m. The next high tide will reach 1.57m at 12.56pm and low tide will be at 7.27pm at 0.43m.

When he did not resurface they began searching and were joined by members of the community. Acting Inspector Mahony said emergency crews including police arrived and searched the water but were unsuccessful. A police diving team was then called in. Divers found the man s body at the bottom of the water hole just after 8pm, close to where he was last seen. It would appear that the deceased has not hit a rock, or been caught under the water, he said. A man has drowned at popular swimming hole Gardners Falls on Tuesday afternoon. Sunshine Coast police district duty officer Scott Nolan said police divers found the man s body after 8pm. At 4.45pm emergency crews responded to a report of a male person who was swimming who was no longer seen in the watering hole, Senior Sergeant Nolan said. An immediate search by family members and emergency services failed to locate the male person. Unfortunately, just after 8pm police divers located the man deceased.
