After a fire damaged. Over the course of 11 hours to the cheers of weary passengers. More than 1,300 flights were cancelled or delayed with more backups expected to ripple into today. Reporter a massive power outage at the worlds business jest airport. Were all finding out whats to do next. Arriving planes were held at the point of departure. Some arriving passengers were stuck on the tar mac while others said finding flight information was a struggle. We havent got an email or a text. The system is down. This is a mess. The power outage came at the start of a busy travel season. U. S. Air carriers are expected to fly 15 million passengers between now and january 15th. Santa claus came around. A lighter mood for passengers who can do little but wait. Now to the massive fire consuming southern california.
We know that people were running from the area yelling shooter and then ran for cover. We will go to henry lee live at the command post with what you are learning from police. Reporter yeah. Just a recap. This happened at 8 55 this morning when a man, a ups worker wearing a uniform opened fire at the ups Customer Center on san bruno avenue in San Francisco. What we know is this. Three victims are killed. The man then opened fire on himself. Two other people are wounded. We do not have a motive in that case. We do not have an identity of the shooter or dead or injured. That may come out later today. I want to go to the chief who addressed the media with in the last half hour. Lets hear what we had to say. Officers determined this was an active shooter situation and formed contact teams. They found shooting victims and evacuated them to a safe location to start medical treatment.
