    One of the eight persons declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters in connection with the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama community, Delta State has turned himself in.   Clement Ikolo, the King of Ewu Kingdom in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state, on Thursday, turned himself in to the authorities by going to the state police command.

The 17 military personnel of the 181 Amphibious Batallion, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, were on peace mission to Okuama Community when they were surrounded and killed by some irate youth in the community.

    President Bola Tinubu has conferred national honours on 17 military personnel killed in Delta State on March 14, 2024.
