Oxford County library branches will be celebrating National Family Literacy Day with a series of free virtual programs.
The library will host eight different online events Jan. 27 that will offer some fun literacy-boosting activities.

The Books for Babies program will begin the day at 10 a.m. with a travel edition, followed at 11 a.m. by Miss Gail telling stories and singing songs for young kids.
At noon, there will be a course on making playdough, and then songs and tales from Africa will be offered at 1 p.m. A walkthrough of the alphabet starts at 2 p.m. while the Teen Book Trailer Challenge is set for 3 p.m.
