Adults with type 2 diabetes (or those who are at risk of type 2 diabetes) and their family members, caregivers, and support persons are invited to participate in Dining with Diabetes. This free virtual program will help you learn the skills needed to promote good health while living with diabetes. Dining with Diabetes is an Extension program taught locally by Karen Roberts Mort, MS of Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County. TROY, N.Y. â The new Make It Up State Marketplace made its debut at Riverfront Park in downtown Troy over the weekend.
After an eight-week winter inaugural season indoors in Lansingburgh, local business development organization Make It Up State moved its marketplace outdoors to celebrate warmer weather along the Hudson River, while featuring local and regional producers of goods, food, music, art and more.
Through showcasing area makers and their products, Make It Up State is dedicated to supporting small businesses, promoting economic development, and reviving and preserving the arts, crafts and makers movements through educational opportunities and events.

TROY – A new market showcasing local handmade goods and food will open Sunday at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market winter location in Lansingburgh and will run every Sunday through March 28.
