Picture the scene. You’re at a St Patrick’s Day get together and someone asks you to put on a song that will fit the occasion. You break out in a cold sweat. Your mind goes blank. You feel like you’re going to suffocate in your brand new Aran jumper your ma bought you. Eventually you mumble something about The Pogues, everyone sighs and suddenly it’s the fifth century and you’re a snake about to get run out of town.
