Jharkhand HC: Jharkhand HC asks state govt to hold municipal polls within three weeks | Ranchi News
Jharkhand High Court has ordered the state government to hold municipal polls in Ranchi within three weeks. The court's decision came after a petition filed by former ward councillors for the delay in conducting the elections. The government has not taken steps to issue a notification for conducting the elections, causing hindrances in the welfare schemes of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
