Culture 2 months, 3 weeks Plenty of Malaysians across the east coast have been forced to evacuate their homes over the last few days due to flooding caused by the monsoon season. The extremely heavy rains in Malaysia have dehomed up to 28,000 people with at least 4 dead in the east coast states of Johor, Pahang, Perak, Selangor, and Terengganu. It is common for flooding to hit Malaysia s east coast during the rainy season but 2021 s floods are one of the worst so far. It can be frustrating to watch all of this as a bystander.
