PENDANG: The remains of senior non-commissioned officer Sarjan Faridah Abd Rahman from Malaysian Battalion 850-11 (Malbatt 850-11) are expected to be brought home this Wednesday for burial in her village in Mukim Tobiar, near here.

PENDANG: The family of Senior Non-Commissioned Officer from Malaysian Battalion 850-11 (Malbatt 850-11), Sergeant Faridah Abd Rahman, who died in Lebanon on Saturday (May 18), have come to terms with her passing, describing it as a peaceful departure.
In late February 2024, three unusual incidents occurred in the Dahiya, the Hizbullah stronghold in southern Beirut, in which the organization detained and interrogated foreign nationals who had entered that area. All the people detained were foreigners who were in the country with the official approval and consent of the Lebanese state authorities.
