FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks started their 2023-2024 season in spectacular fashion at home on Friday, posting a score of 167.5 over SEC opponent Kentucky’s score of 131.5. The Hogs won 10 events including first and second place finishes in both the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay.
Friends of THERASwim, a nonprofit associated with TheraSWIM, a Loveland-based aquatic physical and occupational therapy provider, hosted its second annual Tri My Best Triathlon, an adaptive triathlon for children with disabilities.
Arkansas diver Malea Martinez earned a top-25 finish in her NCAA debut in the one-meter. The freshman finished 22nd while posting a score of 250.35. Junior Grace Walker placed 32nd with a score of 233.40
Arkansas diver Malea Martinez made her NCAA Zones debut with a top-30 finish in the three-meter event. Freshman Martinez finished 28th out of a field of 51 while posting a score of 269.05. Junior Grace Walker finished 48th and scored 220.25 in the three-meter dive event.
Both the Arkansas swim and dive squads will continue their postseason runs in Minneapolis and Knoxville, respectively, for NCAA Zone Diving and the NCAA Swimming Championships.
