The Mascom Derby is back for its 14th instalment on April 16th 2022, following its pause in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Touted as the biggest horse racing event in the country, the derby is to take place at the Shashe Horse Track in Maun. The event is forecast to attract revellers and participants from Botswana, Namibia, and Lesotho.
