The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has honoured the Ikorodu Bois for their creativity on today’s episode of his Thumbs Up Thursday.
The comic group consists of Muiz Sanni (15), Malik Sanni (10) and Fawas (13). They are known for remaking, mimicking and recreating multi-million dollar music videos, movie scenes and movie trailers using ordinary household items.

Instagram handle where he posted a video commentary that reviewed the young lad’s videos over time.
Taking to the comment section, the Vice-President stated that he celebrates the trio.

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said his administration is committed to developing the creative industry in order for Lagos to remain the destination for art, music and other talents.
Sanwo-Olu spoke on Monday while receiving the Nigerian online comedy group, ‘Ikorodu Bois’, at the Lagos House, Marina.
“Lagos is proud of the Ikorodu Bois because their creativity has put Ikorodu on the global map of international entertainment platforms,” the governor said.
Ikorodu Bois rose to fame for recreating and mimicking multi-million dollar music videos, Hollywood movie trailers, movie scenes and epic pictures using ordinary household items.

Popular YouTube comedy star, Emanuella Samuel, has won Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards 2021 in the ‘Favorite African Social Media Star’ category.
Emanuella won the voting-based award but was in good company with fellow nominees in the same category being, Ikorodu Bois, Magician Wian Van Den Berg from South Africa, Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, Kenya’s social media sensation Elsa Majimbo, and South Africa’s Bonang Matheba.
Emanuella was first nominated for the Kids Choice Awards in 2018 alongside Davido but they lost to Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo.
The Ikorodu Bois received tons of praise for their creativity of using everyday stuff to craftily make their videos and were invited to the world premiere of Netflix action flick ‘Extraction 2′ after they remade the first trailer.

The boys, comprising of three siblings and their cousin: Babatunde Sanni, Muiz Sanni, Malik Sanni, and their cousin, Fawas Aina, have gained global recognition just by making use of common household items to depict top gears used in movies. Popular among these items is the use of a local wheelbarrow to replicate luxury cars, an idea which was first exhibited by Kaptain Kush.
The global recognition of the creative talent of the Ikorodu Boys is reflected in the one million followers on their Instagram page as well as an invitation to Hollywood in the United States for the premiere of the movie, ‘Extraction 2’.

Two Nigerian child superstars have bagged nominations in the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards under the favourite African social media star category.
They are Ikorodu Bois, a Nigerian internet group that recreates and mimic multi-million dollar music videos and Hollywood trailers, and 10-year-old comedienne, Emmanuella.
Ikorodu Bois comprises three brothers, Babatunde Sanni, 23, Muiz Sanni,16, Malik Sanni, 10; and their cousin, Fawas Aina, 13. They earned an invite to the world premiere of Netflix action thriller, ‘Extraction 2′ after making a remake of the first trailer.
Emmanuella, on the other hand, caused a buzz on social media recently when she revealed that she has built her mother a house. She is Nigeria’s biggest child YouTuber and comedienne.
