Combined forces of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Airforce has killed a deadly bandit leader ‘Rufai Maikaji’.
An announcement by the Kaduna State Government on Thursday said ‘Rufai Maikaji’, and his gang was terrorising the State.
The gang is being held accountable for the killing, kidnapping and cattle rustling in many communities in Giwa, Igabi and Chikun LGAs
Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, said the leader and dozens of his fighters were killed around the fringes of Malul Forest in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna Central Senatorial District, by Nigerian Air Force jets in an aerial interdiction conducted in concert with the Nigerian Army.

The Biafra Nations League, BNL, on Thursday mocked the decision of the Northern union to call off the suspension of food to the Southern part of Nigeria.
BNL leader, Princewill Richard said the “North is struggling to be relevant by using food production as tactics.”
He said the union called off the strike after realizing that the Southern part of the country is self-sustained.
A statement to DAILY POST by Princewill alleged the union called off the strike because they realised the South would have cut down supplies of fuel to the North.
The Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria (AUFCDN) had vowed to stop supplying food to the Southern part of the country due to alleged maltreatment of Fulani herdsmen and some Northerners residing in the south.
