Isle of Man paper wins right to speak in court Isle of Man Newspapers has persuaded a court to take representations from the media over orders protecting children. Previously, it had tried and failed. Dale McLaughlan was snapped by an Isle of Man Newspapers photographer boarding a Steam Packet ferry to Heysham this morning. The 28 year old year old had served just under half of a four week sentence for breaking Covid-19 entry rules. He claimed to have been visiting his girlfriend who had called for him to be allowed to stay on the island after his release from prison.
