LISBON David W. Belt, 36, last known address Clark Street, Salineville, in Common Pleas Court stipulated to violating the terms of his community control, which was dishonorably terminated. He was sentenced to 11 months in prison with credit for 71 days already served. Belt had been on community control for an offense of failure to notify the sheriff of change of address for his actions on Aug. 7, 2018, when he had a prior conviction in Suwannee County, Fla., for lewd or lascivious battery on a child.
Griffin M. Wright, 23, McCormick Run Road, Wellsville, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and pleaded guilty to a burglary charge, a fourth-degree felony. Wright was placed on an intervention treatment plan for three years. The charge, which came through prosecutor’s information, was for breaking into the home of Robert Brad Owens and Nicole Shreve, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, on Feb. 7.
