Visiting resumes at Dealgan House after public health officials say Covid-19 outbreak has ended By Ruth O Connell
Visiting at Dealgan House nursing home in Dundalk is resuming.
It had been temporarily suspended after two staff members - who were fully vaccinated, tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, its Managing Director Eoin Farrelly says following testing of residents and re-testing of two staff members, the HSE s Department of Public Health has declared the outbreak closed.
He says Covid was not-detected in all cases and they were delighted to inform relatives that visiting, both indoor and window, could resume from this morning.
