New Hampshire mother who sent girl, 3, unaccompanied in Lyft, left baby wrapped in urine-soaked blanket charged

Copy to Clipboard Stephanie Goddu (Manchester Police Department) A 35-year-old woman from Manchester, New Hampshire, Stephanie Goddu, was arrested on Friday, January 8, and charged with endangering the welfare of a child as well as resisting arrest. The news release by the Manchester Police Department on Facebook following her arrest states that Goddu initially barricaded herself in her home when the police arrived.  The statement reads, “On January 8, 2021 at approximately 6 pm, Manchester Police arrested 35 y/o Stephanie Goddu and charged her with Endangerment the Welfare of a Child. Goddu was wanted in connection with two incidents involving her children. She was located at her Manchester residence. Goddu did not initially comply with officers’ orders to surrender and barricaded herself in her apartment. After a short time, Goddu did come out and was taken into custody.”
