Covid-19: 4,496 foreign workers screened, 39 tested positive on Thursday (March 11), says Ismail Sabri

The Senior Minister (Security) said a total of 4,496 foreign workers were screened. According to the Human Resources Ministry, 608,093 foreign workers have already undergone screening involving 31,682 employers. Of that number 9,653 of them tested positive, he said in a statement on Friday (March 12). He said 1,520 clinics are involved in the screenings. On sanitising operations, Ismail Sabri said 77 operations were conducted involving 279 Fire and Rescue Department personnel and 51 fire engines on Thursday. A total of 18,525 operations have been carried out since March 30,2020 involving housing areas, flats, public places, supermarkets and government buildings. On mandatory quarantine, 801 individuals arrived in the country on Thursday and have been quarantined.
