Former PM Manmohan Singh Tested Positive for COVID-19
Former Prime Minister of India and veteran Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh tests positive for the novel coronavirus on Monday and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi.

New Delhi- Former Prime Minister of India and Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh on Monday tested positive for the novel coronavirus and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
The doctors said that his symptoms are mild and he is in a stable condition. However, he was hospitalized because of old age and comorbidities.
The former Prime Minister was having fever since Sunday evening.
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday after testing positive for COVID-19.
“Wishing our former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh ji good health and a speedy recovery,” tweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A source close to 88-year-old Dr Singh informed
The Hindu that he has admitted to the AIIMS trauma centre for monitoring and further treatment and his condition is reported to be stable. He had taken both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The former Prime Minister, who had been having a mild fever since Sunday night, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning.
