Kathmandu, Oct 2: Within 24 hours after increasing the price of petroleum products, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) took a U-turn and reversed its decision. The state-owned oil monopoly announced its decision to hike the price of petroleum products effective from Sunday midnight (October 2).
KATHMANDU, August 24: At a time when the government claims to be working toward replacing the use of petroleum products with electricity, citing an increase in domestically produced hydropower, the import of petroleum products has increased by a notable volume in the first month of the current fiscal year.
