The selflessness and the hard work of a Tesco worker in the Manor West branch of the store is being highlighted in a new campaign to recognise workers at Tesco stores and warehouses around Ireland. John Williams, a customer assistant in Tralee, is one of those people who is being honoured in the new campaign. John has been described by Tesco as a true team player and a local community champion for his selfless work over the past 12 months of the pandemic. Photographer Ruth Medjber chatted with John for the project, and she shared what John had to say: We talked about the importance of family and how sometimes when you re faced with loss and tragedy in your life, you gain a new perspective and learn to prioritise things differently, like your job, she said.
