The North Quabbin Trails Association will host an “easy, naturalist walk” for veterans and their guests on Saturday, March 20, 9:30 a.m., at Winchendon Community Park at Ingleside Drive. Join members of the Athol Bird and Nature Club for an interesting winter evening presentation by Elizabeth Bradley of the Emily Dickenson Museum for a look at “Birding in 19th century Mass, Emily Dickinson and birds, and follow up with poems that feature observations of native birds.” The program is set for today, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m.

WINCHENDON The Friends of the Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon are holding their used book and media sale, now on Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, by appointment only.
