The Marblehead School of Ballet and the North Shore Civic Ballet's second winter clothing drive was a success! The drive, which ran from November 1 through December 11, 2021, collected over 160 garments and built upon the momentum of the 2020 drive collecting winter coats for people of all ages and expanded this year's collection to include new pajama sets for children.

The Marblehead School of Ballet started the New Year with three new workshop series to beat the winter blues, try new skills, and keep dancing and moving. The three workshops feature Knitting for Beginners and Advanced Beginners, the Monthly Dance Adventure featuring specialty dances, and Modern Dance.
Knitting for Beginners and Advanced Beginners
For dancers and non-dancers wanting to stay active during the COVID-19 pandemic or others seeking to add another skill to their tool kit or to brush up their technique, Marblehead School of Ballet presents an online, live knitting series. Three sessions will be offered from January 14 through March 25 for beginners and advanced beginners.

Judy Moynihan gathered all the winter coats collected to deliver to Anton s Cleaners. (Marblehead School of Ballet) During the Marblehead School of Ballet s (MSB) annual Community Appreciation Week, the studio and the North Shore Civic Ballet s (NSCB) drive collected over 70 winter coats for people of all ages. The drive was extended throughout December to collect additional outerwear to help neighbors suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic.
