Representatives from developer CV Properties proposed a commercial project that combines I-195 Redevelopment Districts 14 and 15 and adjacent University property.
CV Properties has submitted a plan to redevelop Parcels 14 and 15 on the former I-195 land in Providence, which could be anchored by 149-units of housing.
The $300 -million project was first proposed in 2016, but faced public opposition, legal challenges, financial headwinds and a series of redesigns without ever breaking ground.
