volcano. this italian scientist is snapping pictures from a helicopter just yards away from that black, smoky cauldron. here is a nighttime shot. look at the lightning generated by that ash cloud. he s getting incredibly close pictures of the volcano s thick and twisted cloud as it spews 30,000 feet into the air. scientist and photographer marco joins us now, he s getting ready to go back out and take some more pick pictures of this the volcano. you say you ve been photographing volcanos for saw years but this one has 15 years, but this one has attracted more attention. why do you think that is, marco? very rare for a photographer to be at the beginning which is always best for an eruption, so i did not miss this.
