DATE: The Cross Guns Inn has announced its reopening date A VILLAGE pub has announced it will be reopening on June 21 under new management. The Cross Guns, Egerton, will be headed up by Jon Peek and says it will offer a selection of modern and traditional English dishes to customers. The menu has been redesigned and the pub will also include a function facility for 70 guests and an Art Deco cocktail lounge. Jon brings with him over 15 years’ experience in hospitality, most recently as manager at Marco Pierre White’s luxury hotel the Rudloe Arms. As well as running the hotel, Jon was involved in many diverse projects with Marco including hosting ‘A’ list events and co-producing shows such as BBC’s Maestro, Marco’s first television programme in over ten years.
