A year after experiencing the frustration of having to scratch So Much More from the Breeders Crown Mare Pace at The Meadowlands because of sickness, the Beatson family is enjoying the excitement of having its Canadian millionaire in this year’s final at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Live video will be available for the Saturday (Oct. 22) card of harness racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park, featuring Breeders Crown eliminations for three-year-olds and older competitors.

"I’m sure Tony [Alagna] feels she’s going to be competitive...Sometimes in horse racing you take chances and some risks. With that there are some rewards. It’s a privilege to race in the Breeders Crown."

As the yearling portion of the 2018 Standardbred Horse Sale neared completion, Joseph Lyons Mound looked to buy one more horse for his family’s racing stable.
