The Marietta Noon Lions Club has been serving the Marietta community for over 96 years. Most recently, Marietta Noon Lions has been giving back to organizations like the Washington County Boys and Girls Club.
The Washington County Boys and Girls Club is currently working on renovating their building to complete their gym project. Many fundraisers have been planned and grants received, but the project is still accepting donations.
Marietta Noon Lions President Steve McCarthy presented a check on February 4 for $500 to help the Club with this project.
“We cannot express how thankful we are to have partnerships with groups like the Marietta Noon Lions Club,” said Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director of the Washington County Boys and Girls Club. “Their support, and the support of our community is so important for the well-being of our community’s youth.”
