While the majority of New Yorkers see the worst of the coronavirus pandemic behind them, approximately one in five says the worst of the coronavirus pandemic may be yet to come.
A recent poll by Siena College found that 68% of New York adults felt the worst of the pandemic was over by the last two weeks of June, and that the vast majority of New Yorkers feel comfortable returning to pre-pandemic activities such as hosting friends at their home and eating indoors at restaurants.
Siena said the poll consisted of 809 New York-based participants responding to phone calls and online panels about a range of topics including gaining weight, worries of family getting sick and short-term outlook on a range of topics.
