ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero

I hate to have to belabor the obvious, but having seen first hand how shallow the notion of freedom of the press is in the US, 1 it is instructive to watch the hissy fit and rapid moves to inflict punishment on Belarus for crimes against journalists (or rather a journalist) and forcing a passenger plane in its airspace to land. This story is the lead item in the Financial Times: And getting plenty of attention in other major platforms: European Union leaders have agreed on new sanctions against...

Follow RT on Western governments have blasted Belarus for allegedly forcing a plane to land on its soil in order to arrest an opposition activist. But they sang a different tune in 2013, when a similar attempt was made to grab Edward Snowden. On Sunday, a Ryanair commercial flight from Greece to Lithuania was diverted from its course shortly before leaving Belarusian airspace and made an emergency landing in Minsk. This allowed the Belarusian authorities to take Roman Protasevich, forme...

RE: VA Study: How Long Does COVID-19 Vaccine Immunity Last? Angry Bear. Better than Pfizer implied yesterday, but (so far) not great. Immunity, when talking about a respiratory virus is a disputable concept and true immunity lasts for short time no matter if talking about flu, coronavirus, rhinovirus, adenovirus, etc. The important question that needs an answer is for how long and how efficiently the acute respiratory syndrome is prevented. I hope they address that in the paper when published....

Follow RT on Twitter has added a warning to a bombshell expose revealing a covert UK program to plant pro-government narratives in foreign media, telling users the piece may be based on “hacked material,” despite letting similar stories slide. A story published late last week by Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal showed how major news agencies like Reuters and the BBC worked in secret with the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office to cultivate a group of foreign reporters – many base...

By Lambert Strether of Corrente. Query: Readers, for my post stomping the CDC, I’m looking for an epidemiological study on Covid transmission in the schools that I know I linked to, whether in Links or Water Cooler. It was a primary source, not from the Guardian or Deustche Welle or whatever. It was from Europe, and had one of those nice diagrams showing the index case, and I may even have included a tweet with that diagram. But Google being what it is, I can’t find it. Can anyone help? I ...
