Pine Bluff School District sets meeting

This is my 1,000th column published since August 2002. I had planned on retiring when I reached 1,000 columns, but I have decided to delay my departure until the end of the year. This column has monopolized my life for more than two decades, but it has been the opportunity of a lifetime for a guy who believes in the importance of state and local history and wants to share it with fellow Arkansans.

The Arkansas Railroad Museum at Pine Bluff started as a conversation one evening almost 40 years ago at a restaurant inside Pine Bluffs Union Station, and Elizabeth Baresch Gaines, community activist and amateur historian, remembered that October 1983 night well.

AUSTIN, TX - FCP and VaultCap Partners announce the acquisition of Huntington Meadows apartments, a 200-unit multifamily property at 7000 Decker Lane in Austin, Texas. Huntington Meadows is the first acquisition in Austin for both FCP and VaultCap and was sourced through an off-market opportunity based on an existing relationship. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX - FCP and VaultCap Partners have acquired Corey Place Apartments, a 275-unit garden apartment community in Grand Prairie, TX. The transaction marks the first joint venture for FCP and VaultCap.
