Though, as usual, I didn’t have any actual birding plans, my weekend somehow ended up a triumphant birding success.

Springtime abounds with activity of birds and other creatures.

While the Osprey versus eagles saga continued last week at Cedar Pond in Orleans, we finally had a resolution to this high-profile local property dispute.

Eagles took over an osprey nest on Cape Cod. The osprey was none too pleased.

The eagle has landed. Or rather, the Osprey has landed, and he found an eagle squatting in his nest. Now what? A couple of months ago I covered the topic of Bald Eagles hanging out on Osprey nests around here during the winter.
