Hot Springs police are investigating the murder of a mother and her 5-year-old son. At 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, Hot Springs officers went to 201 Wynn Street, Apt. A, to check on the welfare of the occupants. They found Shaquilla Watts, 21, and her son, Zay’vion Watts, dead as the result of a homicide. Detectives are continuing to interview witnesses.
