The car was seen on Video Surveillance and after seeing news reports about the accident the owner drove it to the Police Station in West Philadelphia and told police he had loaned the car to a relative on monday and didnt know it had been in an doesnt. Police say it was the car that ran down 19yearold Josephine Rivera and her 2yearold son. It happened at her home at masher and lehigh. The mother was released from the hospital and returned to her family yesterday afternoon. Police found a fragment of headlight at the scene and it fit perfectly into the car that was turned in today. Fortunately when we recovered the car the piece of the headlight that fell off fit perfectly into the car.
