A drunk driver who killed a man in a crash after running a red light while traveling twice the speed limit learned his fate in a Tampa courtroom on Friday. 

Two years after a random parking lot shooting in Tampa, a man is now headed to trial on eight charges, including four counts of first-degree attempted murder.

A man who pleaded guilty to killing a 21-year-old in a drunk driving crash is headed to prison as her family struggles to come to grips with her death.  

A man charged with first-degree murder had to make the decision between taking a plea deal or head to trial Monday. Henry McGall, who is accused of shooting a drug dealer back in October 2020, passed on the deal.

The 24-year-old teacher was charged with aggravated manslaughter of child in January, but 10 months later, she was taking a plea deal to a reduced charge of child neglect, which normally carries a five-year prison sentence.

In May of 2017, Trevor Summers was accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting his estranged wife Alisa and plotting a murder-suicide, but that plan was thwarted after a tipster called police and Summers was arrested.

Defense attorneys argue that police used excessive force when they broke up the July 4, 2020, demonstration.
