Rep. Cori Bush refused to say whether President Joe Biden should run for a second term during an interview, according to a clip posted to Twitter on Monday.

Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri abruptly ended an interview with a St. Louis reporter Monday after being asked about a re-election bid by President Joe Biden.

Despite what anti-abortion proponents have been insisting, apparently Missouri divorce law "does not see fetuses as humans."

Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and JR Majewski blame everything but guns after a 4th of July parade shooting.

More media reports indicate Republican Congressman Rodney Davis will seek a new term in Congress from the newl...

Governor Prtzker leads again. Creating a statewide mask mandate for all K-12 schools is not only the right thing to do until all students have access to covid vaccination, but it’s necessary to prevent the repeated confrontations from the luddites at normally staid school board meetings. Science doesn’t support that mask usage in schools changes the rate for childrens spread. What the data did find was lower the spread to adults working in the school. But at this point in time with vaccine...

=== Meanwhile, House Republicans reported spending $427,165.77 compared to $260,627.05 for House Democrats.=== How much grifting is there on the Raunerites side if you spend $400+K and all you’re doing is press pops, even if they are getting the likes of Maxwell to edit the slanting better than the HRaunerites could if given a week to craft. Oh. Maxwell coulda went through the parking lot, but when you look at that open, I mean, tell me the HRaunerites coulda produced something better. I will...

Ive’s crying and placing blame because her side lost. Gotta love that party of responsibility and self-reliance. This wasn’t a problem for these same people when it was their team doing it. My local community college board got taken over by partisan right wingers, and we just have to live with it. Agree with the suggestion to eliminate odd year elections. Saves money, makes sure your reps are elected by a representative number of voters. ===While Graham opposes political parties in local e...

“People in Illinois have been ignored based on their race.” Translation: “White people’s voices aren’t being heard!” Don’t underestimate Bailey’s chances to win the nomination. It seems Schimpf is in the Rauner lane, which isn’t quite as extreme right as the Trump lane. If Bailey’s announcement dissuades Ives and other Trumpers from running he has an good chance to win. Then it’s a matter of how voters feel about Pritzker, and a lot can happen in 20+ months. for a guy r...

How does Bruce fit that big head through doors? Rauner’s lack of self-reflection was a problem on the job, and obviously remains an ongoing feature of who he is. Mark says it perfectly well: while Dems took ‘him out,’ it’s due to the Feds ‘weakening’ him, but also thanks to Gov. Rauner who began chiseling away and tearing down this massive obelisk created since 1983. But Gov. Rauner started the process of sinking the Madigan Titanic. Who would of thought of MJM resigning outright ...
