Workers were on the night shift on Friday when tornado hit candle factory. Eight people from the factory died, with 74 people across Kentucky killed. Some allege they were not allowed home.

Several Kentucky factory employees who worked for Mayfield Consumer Products were allegedly told to stay at work amid the tornado warnings. Some workers claimed that managers told them to stay after the initial warning and told them to go back to work.

As a tornado devastated Mayfield, Kentucky last weekend, Courtney Saxton, 38, and five of her children ranging from 3 to 13 bolted to hide in their bathtub and closet. While they hid, waiting for the storm to subside, Saxton received a frantic call.
