The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office says an Augusta man died in a crash Saturday night following two traffic stop attempts.

Sheriff's Office: Mark Sousa, 44, died Saturday evening when thrown from his car after fleeing officers at high speed. Earlier in the day, Sousa fled officers while he was on a motorcycle.
