Keswick came agonisingly close to taking a five point bonus victory back to Cumbria from the North East at the weekend.

After a week of heavy rain Keswick were pleased to be able to welcome Stockton in a crucial Regional 2 North clash at Davidson Park.

It wasn’t one for the connoisseurs but Keswick’s 14-6 win over Aspatria was of enormous importance in the context of the Regional Two North table.

Keswick put in a splendid effort in Regional 2 North when they travelled to play Northern, a first ever fixture between the two clubs.

Keswick were the latest Cumbrian side to feel the full force of Middlesbrough in Regional 2 North.
