Mur news 9 at noon. Sean a manchester woman is accused of stabbing her own son in the back. The 18yearold Victim Told Police he and his mother, 40yearold bernadette alvarez, got into a heated argument over his pet birds. At some point, alvarez allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her son in the back. Alvarez is charged with first degree assault. The victim suffered serious but nonlife threatning injuries.
