Four vie for 3 Black Hawk seats
Star Courier
Voters Tuesday will be asked to choose from four candidates who are running for the three open seats for the Black Hawk College Board of Trustees.
Stevens, Larsen and Swan are running together as an election slate. They say they share many of the same regional concerns and solutions.
Kimberly Stevens is the owner and operator of Stevens Veterinary Clinic in Galva.
She says owning an animal-based clinic so close to the college has given her great insight into how the college interacts with the community. She said owning the business for the past 10 years has given financial management insights that will also be useful.
