Pezzullo credited Lt. John Loyer and officers Donna Gonzalez, Adam Mattei, Colin Murray and Robert Kelly with rescuing the young woman who was pinned inside a crumpled GMC Envoy in the aftermath of a collision that occurred on Conover Road on June 15, 2020, according to a press release.

According to a press release from the Marlboro Police Department, at 4:03 p.m., police received a 911 call from a resident who was reporting a fire at a residential building on Yorkshire Place in Millponds. Police officers arrived at the scene approximately four minutes after the 911 call was received. Flames could be seen from the road and there was a heavy smoke condition.
