Board of Elections Update
ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum County Board of Elections has chosen a new leader.
In the wake of Tim Thompsons’s retirement the board selected Marlee Gibson as their new director and Chris Hamill as the new deputy director. Pat Hennessey is the new Chairperson. “Marlee has been here for approximately fourteen years. She had been the deputy director, and the board felt that she was well qualified for the position so they did move her up to director,” Hamill said.
The board also wanted to announce that there will be no Muskingum County midterm elections as each race is uncontested.
