Marvelous Marcus News Today

Town open their first-team pre-season friendly programme with a game against League of Ireland Premier Division side Drogheda United on Saturday afternoon having spent the week training at the Carton House Hotel in Co Kildare (KO 2pm).

AFC Wimbledon frontman Lyle Taylor is reported to be a summer target of the Blues and Burton Albion.

Loanee Josh Earl is convinced Town can still go up automatically despite surrendering a top-six place when they lost 1-0 at Sunderland on Saturday, a third successive defeat by a promotion rival.
