This year’s masterpiece was produced by Gilvano Swasey, supported by young artists from Northside schools St Catherine Academy and St John’s College (High School). Their inspiration: a 1981 piece from Joan Duran (father of Stonetree Records’ Ivan Duran) of a faceless Kriol person mounted by the phrase “Get Your Head Together for Independence.”
