For the ninth year in a row, Arizona State University is No. 1 in innovation among American universities, ahead of Stanford and MIT, in the newly released annual “Best Colleges” 2024 rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

Nine of this year's 20 Flinn Scholars have chosen to attend ASU in the fall. The prestigious scholarship covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing, meals and at least two study-abroad experiences at one of Arizona’s three state universities. The merit-based award is valued at more than $130,000.
Madeline Magee, a senior majoring in interior design, has won an office design competition sponsored by furniture manufacture Steelcase, beating out more than 1,200 other students from around the country. In addition to Magee, interior design senior Chloe Cobb was a semifinalist. It was the first year ASU entered the contest.
In its continued effort to make college more accessible through innovative methods, Arizona State University is partnering with YouTube and Crash Course to offer college courses that begin on YouTube.
