New projects offer promise for Main Street in 2021

WOONSOCKET – A recent boom of small business openings and two major projects on the horizon have members of the Downtown Woonsocket Collaborative feeling optimistic about Main Street’s prospects for the coming year.
Davis Advertising headquarters in Worcester sold to owners of Masis Staffing Solutions

The Worcester headquarters of Davis Advertising, the largest advertising agency in Central Massachusetts, has been sold to the local owners of a professional staffing services firm, the real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates has announced.
The 13,000-square-foot building at 1331 Grafton St. sold for $2,037,500 to a limited liability corporation registered by Jeanne and Frank Vaccaro, whose family operates Masis Staffing Solutions, according to a news release.
Davis Advertising has sold its office building on Grafton Street in Worcester for just over $2 million and will lease back about half of the building.
Davis, the largest advertising firm in Central Massachusetts with 28 employees and $19 million in annual billings, sold the building to the family operating the professional staffing services firm Masis Staffing Solutions. The deal was announced Thursday by the Worcester realty firm Kelleher & Sadowsky, which represented both buyer and seller. The deal closed Wednesday.
Masis Staffing Solutions, which is now based at 416 Belmont St. in Worcester, will move its headquarters to the remaining space in the building it ll share with Davis.
