The school district has called a snow day, but remote classes are still on for some Brookline students.
The Public Schools of Brookline announced it will close all public schools Thursday in light of a heavy storm set to hit the Northeast and blanket the Boston area with 8 to 15 inches of snow.
Brookline students the majority of whom are in a remote/in-person hybrid learning model will spend the snow day in remote classes, with first through eighth graders ending the day at noon and high schoolers finishing at 12:15 p.m. Kindergarteners and students in the Brookline Early Education Program will not have class.
