Material Handling Systems Inc. plans to invest $7.6 million in a new facility in Bowling Green, creating 200 full-time jobs, Gov. Andy Beshear announced on Thursday in a statement. The Mt. Washington-based company manufactures conveyor and automated sortation equipment. The Warren County facility will provide steel structures for conveyor and sortation systems that will be installed at the company’s headquarters in Mt. Washington, the statement said.

In turn, MHS plans to invest $7.6 million in the facility, which will create 200 new full-time jobs. The project is expected to have a total economic impact topping $327 million over a 10-year period.
